God Bless the Mount Vernon Ladies Association for this wonderful presentation of their amazing preservation of our founding father’s home. I have had the privilege of visiting a few times and hope to be there next year to celebrate George Washington’s Birthday which I share. Thank you for your continued support to preserve and protect his legacy.

  • Thank you for this! I have been fascinated with George and Martha Washington and Mount Vernon since I was 13 years old I am now 53. I have wanted to visit but I am now terminally ill and it will not be happening! So watching this video fills a void! Patricia Gambino Harrington(I post on my husband's acct)
  • Amazing that the state of Virginia and or the Federal government did not want to preserve the mansion as a national monument.
  • Keeping history alive. Awesome. Find any Masonic items related to G W?
  • I was lucky to purchase a mirror donated by Nancy Halsted in 1869 that at one time hung in the New Jersey room which had originally belonged to her grandfather, a surgeon in the Revolutionary War.
