Steve Dale is all about the money not the football, he even says it in the interview.

What an awful man. He lies here - he did demand a £2m payout; reduced to £810k "for all the hard work he did" which put any potential buyers off. It's time football club owners were mandated to undergo a financial suitability check.

I feel that the main reason that the EFL have expelled Bury FC from the league, is because in their mind they couldn't see it proper for Bury FC to be six matches behind the rest of the teams in League 1. Well let me explain this to those 'amateur' administrators who are running the EFL. When I played football in The Lancashire Amateur League, coming up to the end of the season we would often find (due to having a good quality playing surface), that we were waiting for a few of the other clubs to catch up because they had council run pitches, and matches would get postponed due to heavy rains. Some of the clubs may have eight games to make up, but they did it, because they were determined to do so! So this excuse given by the EFL on Bury FC having to make up a six game deficit is nothing, when in the amateur game, some players would of been working from 8am and driven straight to the match venue and played. Some teams had to play three games in a week to make up the deficit. This goes to show that anything can be achieved when you put your mind to it...... however, this decision goes to show that the EFL, doesn't have the same mindset as those determined players who think positively! 'Negative minded amateurs running a professional organisation', that is the EFL. So never mind the improper persons check, when the EFL come to a panic decision as they have done with the issue of Bury FC, then I feel it is they, the EFL Board that aren't properly fit enough to run their own league competition, and with this in mind Bury FC should fight this decision in the courts! And now Bury FC (which is still officially a club) have to apply to another league to compete in. So why not apply to the Vanarama National League get be ready for 2020-2021 season!
