Weird thing about the DS9 sear spring, the left leg is flat instead of having a curved L shaped edge. Threw me for a loop the other day during reassembly after a deep clean. Used it in my first steel match today - what a joy to shoot!

Yeesh.... I don't know but, taking a ~$3,000 hand built gun down to this level gives me great concern in putting it back together. Without screwing it up. Keen to get your all's thought on this. I've never taken one this far down to clean and maintenance.

Very nice video, what lubricant do you recommend? Oil or Grease on frame rails ?

Hi, somebody could explain me why sometimes the slide remain unaligned 1/2 inch with the frame??

Why is it bad to let the hammer fall on an empty frame? Please explain. Just bought my first DS9 Commander and she is easily my favorite gun. Great job!

Wait, so a $3k minimum pistol, and you have to make a "tool" out of a paperclip in order to disassemble it??? Seriously WTF??? I really hope David Lyell either found a better design, or at least started shipping a proper recoil system tool in the newer ones...
