The P1000 is 125x zoom. I captured this the same night that I got the stars. I believe that this is Jupiter and moons. The news said Jupiter was visible so I can only assume this is Jupiter. It does appear as a dot that is 369.59 million miles away. Please excuse the rank armature camera work. This was my first time using this camera, I was in the dark and no wireless remote.
