my grandma was a professional clown, she had two clown characters Zoe and Pearl. she actually went to clown college and would perform at children’s hospitals. she was honestly the reason clowns don’t scare me at all, she was such a light and just wanted to make people happy.

I remember when they clown craze of 2016 happened, I dressed up as a clown the same year and my mom told me, “If you go out there like that you’re going to get shot.”

After my dad died I learned he met John Wayne Gacy and his friend was killed by him. My whole life I never knew why my dad hated clowns so much

Fun fact : There is a school for clowns. My dad was a firefighter and wanted to be a clown for burned victims, so he went to clown school. I still think its werid to this day but it made him and the others happy. IDK

My uncle went to clown college. Rest his soul . He was in the circus and everything. I think he did the acrobatics as well.

My dad was a clown! He did kids' parties and any community functions and we loved watching him get dressed. It's why I love clowns and love watching them. I've done clown classes as well because I loved clowning. One of the things I learned that makes a clown funny is that they try so hard to be as normal as those around them but fail every time. I also learned that the red nose is the smallest mask in the world. Clowns Without Borders also does some brilliant work in crisis areas to bring laughter and joy to those who have been displaced and are experiencing hardship. Clowns are not the scary horror-show characters theyve been made out to be in recent decades.
