95% of HR Blockhead employees are number typers, simply entering the numbers off the various forms that customers provide to them. They know no more Tax law than the average person. Their fees are exorbitant.

Does the H&R Block card not have a chip? If it doesn't, that makes cloning a cinch. Also, high probability of insiders being the culprits. Could be at the tax prep place or somehow connected to the card issuer. Not reassuring. Better to have funds direct deposited to a regular bank account. Safer, since prepaid debit cards have less consumer protections. Many banks offer second chance accounts for those with past banking problems.
