Yeah, but if you use the incredible Spear, you will never have to worry about the missile firing from a slightly different position (you will never fire)

The nests have the same armor value as front shield on the walkers/striders. Autocannon, HMG Emplacement, AMR Sniper, and safe mode railgun, have the second level of AP which can damage this types. Albeit running AMR against bugs is a meme, and you'd use a lot of ammo so likely requiring a supplypack backpack. HMG Emplacement is also a meme against bugs, but does have enough ammo in one deploy to take out all 3 nests barely. Railgun is not recommended to use on nests despite it being technically possible. Las cannon is extremely effective against Shriekers, and can also take out their nests within 200 meters in under a full charge per nest (albeit if you are shooting every shrieker that comes out with the las cannon, you might need to wait for it to cool off a few times per nests).

Yeeees!!!! I can finally help in the war effort! I only enjoyed playing helldives but it was very demoralizing that my efforts counted the same as trivial

It appear that the contribution change we experienced was very temporary, and was reverted back to what they were with squad impact only being tied to the number of missions in a serie... :(

I do feel like the difficulty is a lot less crazy now. Diff 7 is pretty fun now even with random PUGs

It is kind of unfortunate the fix for the crashes isnt coming until next week, but hey maybe it'll teach arc thrower players ammo management or something lol

Are you sure the squad impact wasnt a bug? I did a full 7 operation last night, all objectives and got the normal 3 liberation contribution.

Laser cannon melts the nest in just under a full charge from a distance, and I've been running anyway alongside guard rover. It's actually good utility

Im glad they fixed the spawns, I had two or three clips of a bot patrol literally spawning directly on my position while trying to stealth an objective and dying seconds after

I think they had to change planet influence back to the old system because it wasn't measuring the Liberation progress correctly. I am sure its being worked on but that system still needs more time to work properly Edit: I also think they gave the mushrooms medium armor so it's slightly harder to destroy now

When they fix the servers crashing and the armor/ helmet the game will be epic
