Who are Kara and Nate?!
Watch our documentary here: • 100th COUNTRY DOCUMENTARY
Originally from Nashville, Tennessee, we got married 2013 and were super “normal.” I was a teacher and Nate started a small printing business from the spare bedroom of our apartment.
We discovered the world of “travel hacking” while planning our honeymoon & became addicted ;)
So after 2 years of obsessively saving $35k and over 2 million miles and points, we sold our cars and apartment and left home January 10, 2016 for a “one year” trip around the world.
Our goal was to see as many places as possible before we ran out of money and went back home to “normal life.” We started this channel to share our experiences with friends and family, but quickly fell in love with living on the road and found a new passion for capturing our travels through video. So we did everything we could to keep going.
4 years later, we achieved our new goal of visiting 100 countries and all 7 continents. We had no plans to slow down, until 2020 forced us to ;) Which is when we bought a converted van to start exploring our own country for the first time!
After ~2 years of van life, we are back to full time international traveling! And now we are finding the best adventures the world has to offer :)
We are incredibly grateful to be able to continue doing something we love every day. 😊🎥🌎 Thank you to everyone who has been a part of our journey!

We may still be delirious…but we laughed out loud SO many times at our own video 😂 We hope you love the finale as much as we do! Thank y’all for being a part of this journey and showing up every week for us 😊 Let us know your fav part of this ep in the comments 😁

I loved hearing Nate's dad complain about everything and then say, "I loved biking with my sons." ❤
-
I cannot believe how emotionally mature the 2 kiddos are. The bag of snickers and then the “that’s really nice to do this for my daddy” alone. They’re being raised to be sweet, caring, mischievous, and confident badasses and I’m here for it.
-
Nate's pep talk about just starting and showing up, followed immediately by a nap is just so honest. With the right mindset, good support, some food and a little sleep I truly believe you can accomplish anything! The countdown was more emotional than expected, you all had me tearing up :) This was my favorite challenge video series you have done. I am so proud of you all, and you didn't die!!! Thank you for you sharing the adventure with us!

When all 6 riders waddled across the finish line together, it brought tears to my eyes! That crazy detour may have slowed you down; but who knows? Maybe it saved your lives. : )
-
Nate's dad is killing me! "Paranormal activity all over the place"..."i tried every inch of that seat and couldn't find a comfortable spot," love when they join them for an adventures. I've really enjoyed this series:) Edit: Best comment of the vid - "this van smells like a bag of butts" LOL

Nate’s dad’s reaction after one day of biking is so perfect! Just gives you perspective of how crazy this challenge is! Congrats team ❤
-
I may or may not have cried a little when you all crossed the finish line!! Keeping up with this bike trip for the last MONTH has been so incredibly fun and is always the highlight of my week! I know this isn’t the end of your adventures, but I’ll definitely miss this little series! You all are incredible 🫶🏻

I really enjoyed hearing Sarah’s recap of how Beck’s leadership and Kara’s energy made the lady climb crushers such a success. I thought that was super sweet and humble as she was also such an integral part of the team. Rick and Beck definitely have that X factor for inspiring confidence that we can do hard things. You guys are all amazing. Well done!
-
Nate's dad's rant after his trek was not only hilarious , but a beautiful summary of the camaraderie that propelled you across the country. Congrats and thank you for taking us all with you on your amazing journey !
-
Best part. Nate’s Dad has such a way of honestly saying things. That should have been an epic scene from a movie when he explains how he’s feeling 😂😂. No script writer could have done that more perfect 👍
-
"There are usually only about two times a year that I get up and make the coffee and that's on Nate's birthday and... 🤔 Actually, just one time a year!" That downwards revision from a meagre two to one was hilarious! Thank you Kara! 😂
-
Nate has the absolute funniest, cutest & sweetest parents. What lovely surprise guests.
-
Please tell Evie she gets the BEST Sense of humor award for the series!!! She knows how to show a sense of maturity for such a young lady. And can deliver lines that had us in stitches!!! Including the snack bag! Hilarious 😂🎉! That was great!!!
-
I just absolutely sobbed by the end of the video, I don’t know how you guys kept it together. I cannot imagine how accomplished you feel, but I can feel the joy simply through my phone screen. Amazing job to everyone, you can do hard things ❤️
-
Your dad talked so much in this video. He talked more after he got off the tandem then he did the whole stranded on an island video. Love y’all and your parents!!!!
-
Nate and Dusty riding with papa, absolutely adorable and wholesome. You guys are amazing. God bless you all.
-
I’m sad it’s over but this was one of the best series you guys have ever made. CONGRATULATIONS you guys are amazing I hope you’re all super proud of yourselves for doing such an incredible journey🩷🥳🎉🎉🎉🎉
-
Idk if it because I’m at a point in my life where the “ lessons” that are hidden in this whole bike trip series is just amazing! I loved the Colorado trail series but I’m really feelin this one! Thank you!
-
Congrats!!! Nate's parents are so sweeeeet! It is so sweet when Nate's dad said "It's good to ride with my sons", and I suddenly remember "Oh yeah! Dusty too!" hahaha I am happy you guys finished the challenge but I am really sad that the amazing series is ended T_T Fans from Hong Kong!
