Simply the BEST ENGLISH BREAKFAST in London

Published 2023-11-17
The best English Breakfast isn't defined by what's served on a plate, but rather starts with a rich 100+ year family history and generations of family members cooking with their heart and soul. That is what E Pellicci serves on a plate, it's simply the best. Can't think of a better way to spend our last day in London.

Your outro with all the shots of London set to @johnclapper singing made me cry. It was that fabulous. Also enjoyed your interaction with the family at E Pellicci. The breakfast looked divine. Was on my list but I never made it. Thanks for sharing. More of this, please.

Good Morning My Two Favorite YT Content Creators Bill/Lisa❤
  • Brilliant vlog! My family lived off of Brick Lane until 1972 when we moved to North London. My mum and dad used to meet at Pellicci when they were dating in the early 1960’s. Back then the most infamous London Gangsters used to eat there every morning. Back in the min 1980’s many of the English had some sort of fried breakfast every morning. I loved it! Anyway, thanks for the lovely vlog. All the best!

Great review, was so nice of you to talk with the owner and promote a small business. What a lovely, sweet couple you are.
  • I am so hungry watching your delicious looking video! Such a scrumptious looking breakfast! So glad you enjoyed yet another great meal in London. We are learning so much from your channel about where to dine! Thank you for more great content! Always excited to see your next new video. Safe travels!

Hi Bill and Lisa!🙋‍♀️ I KNEW you'd Love E. Pellicci!!! Sadly, they are probably the last place in greater London still offering fried bread as well as regular mushrooms. Most places now give you a portobello cap instead. When I lived in London my Scottish neighbour made her fried bread last. She fried all the meats first, then the tomato in that meat grease. Then added oil to the meat grease, and fried up the bread in that fat mixture! Love the Pellicci family! I'm so happy you showed Mama Pellicci! Glad to see she's still cooking! I always made sure to thank her for my meal whenever I was there!

You know that breakfast was good if Lisa's hair was down when they did the review outside the restaurant! 😂

You two are energetic to the max. You flew back from London and Lisa had to work the next day? Damn ... amazing!
  • Ahhh good old Pellicci’s. It’s just a proper good feed, guaranteed to put a smile on your face and give your belly a hug

I feel like making full English breakfast for Christmas morning. I would crockpot the baked beans, dried and soaked. And good toast, with Christmas crackers on each plate, so we can sport our tissue 👑 all day
