I would like to dedicate this song to my mom who died last Friday on November 20, 2020 in her sleep at 4 A.M. due to natural causes. Her name was Sue Ann. Her birthday was just next month. If I chose this as her funeral song (if I had the chance), everybody would recognize my good taste in music. I've been listening to this song way before she passed away. We love you, Sue Ann. This beautiful song was played at the funeral of my girlfriends son aged 21 who tragically died in a train accident many years ago. Today is the 4th anniversary of her own death to lung cancer and ir brings many tears from heaven for both of them RIP

I just randomly heard about his son, Connor's, death from falling out of the window to death at 4 years old. Before this was just a really good sounding song, now it is even more powerful knowing what they came from. Connor will live on through this beautiful song.

Lost my brother to cancer in 2004. He was such a great, gentle man. He took care of our family. It should of been me who got cancer. The fact that I no longer believe in God was justified. RIP wondetful, selfless brother. ❤

You can hear the pain in his voice as he sings . I only just learned it was written for his son a year ago. This song has always made me cry but now that I know the meaning ,I cry even harder. It's such a beautiful tribute to a beautiful little boy ,may he rest in peace.

Lost my dad to lung cancer,he was 61.l was the closest person to him,the one he could confide in and let his feelings out.He was proud of me and l thank God for the man he was….intelligent ,kind and decent,l was so proud of him and his courage.He passed over covered in glory…….🙏

Eric Clapton, I lost my son, on the 15th of October 2021, he was only 13 years old, such a kind, gentle and lovely boy. He never had any health problems, after a dose of vac@na pfzr, he had a hemorrhage in the brain and was released. I wish you and everyone you love lots of light. I'm from Brazil, Cravinhos-SP. If you can give me an answer, I would appreciate it. I cry every day after he left.

This was played at my big brothers funeral last month. It fit perfectly. I still can’t believe he’s gone but I know he’s with my grandmaw in heaven and they are fishing together in the gold pond. I can’t wait to see him one day. He was my best friend and meant the world to me. I would do anything to have him here right now. This song sounds like him. It’s my piece of him that lives on
