  • I love that this channel is becoming a book tube, it’s slowly convincing me to start my own
  • @tiffany8815
Maybe I'm crazy but your negative talk about the books made me want to read them more 😂😂 I've been into trilogies lately & need a new one. Might give these a shot!
  • I love how Haley always lets us know what we could potientially be getting ourselves into.

Haley’s reading vlogs are so much fun watching. Thx haley for working so hard 💖
  • I really love how Haley always records her self while reading and in this vlog it was where she was near the end of first book 💖 my comfort channel it is.

“this book is going to. end. in. ruin.” - haley, GIRL I FEEL I audibly scream that stuff when i’m alone in my apartment lmao

Honestly, I would love a "book bashing" video from you! These kind of videos on booktube are very entertaining and sometimes have even helped me to decide wether I should read certain hyped books or not.

I love how haley gives warning for about what ages it’s appropriate/ if people just don’t wanna read abt spicy scenes, great video!!

I LOVED these covers. It was so cool to look at them after I finished the book and realize what they meant and find the little hidden meanings in them.
  • I was really confused why Haley picked this book up after reading the synopsis. Haley likes clean romance. She’s a very vanilla reader. I’m in my 30s and I read Gossip Girl as a teenager and I remember the toxicity but I also don’t mind those other tropes and topics so I am excited to read it.

don't be afraid to talk negatively about books, even if they're popular! it's still important!

i get so excited when a new video of haley’s comes out! haley you’re my comfort youtuber, i’ve been watching your videos for 3 years and you’ve given me back my love for books again so thank you! 💓
  • I LOVE THIS BOOK SERIES SO MUCH. The way Jessa writes is so beautiful. The metaphors and analogies are stunning and the way she makes you feel so apart of the characters’ lives and so invested in them is crazy. Yes, it’s not for everyone, but I truly love it so much and am so attached to the characters. Daisy Haites is my FAVOURITE literally my comfort boom

I read magnolia parks a few months ago and I love it, I understand it’s not for everyone though! Magnolia and Bj depict the most tortuous form of love and infatuation and that’s why I am so interested in their story. It’s very different from the usual fun, lighthearted romcoms that are usually recommended. The back and forth did get annoying and there were times where I had to put the book down because I wished they would just communicate, but I think I just loved the complexity of their story. Also the whole “How many loves do you get in a lifetime?” type of storyline was so special for me to read, as someone who’s been in a toxic relationship. It was very fun, but also very real and dark and I love books that can do both of those things. Also, Jessa Hastings writing style was so pure and heartwarming for some reason - it felt like she, herself, was reading it to me ??? I think I just prefer reading about sad love stories and for me, BJ and Magnolias was the saddest i’ve come across. I hated BJ, but then I loved him, and I hated Magnolia but then I loved her. I usually hate the cheating trope because there is nothing a cheater can say or do to take back what they’ve done - but I felt so much remorse for BJ and im not even sure I understand why??? I haven’t read the last book so im interested to see what my final opinion is. I’m almost done Daisy Haites, and I would say if you didn’t like the 1st book you definitely won’t like this one! It’s way darker and involves a lot of violence - if it wasn’t for the characters being mentioned in the first book, I would never have guessed they were a book in the same series. Great vlog Haley!!
  • @BethanyC
I read Magnolia Parks last year and completely agree with you!! I don’t like reading toxic relationships. I want happy sweet love and magnolia parks isn’t that 😂
  • @Chenise
I’m only 2 chapters in Magnolia Parks & honestly reading it makes me feel like I’m losing my mind because it rarely makes sense. It’s hard to imagine what’s going on etc.
  • @nehaa6587
Honestly, your book videos are so comforting <3
  • @mgiag99
I haven’t heard of these books, but I really love hearing you talk about the storylines that can be toxic and misleading for some readers - including a younger audience. Even if a book is popular, there can still be a lot of concerning and glorifying tropes in them that people choose to ignore or accept. Which is completely fine, but it’s important to point out for younger readers.
  • @avarrrr2944
Your videos are so comforting and perfect. I love them and you’re a queen.
  • @khalilahd.
Thank I seriously love the book reviews. I’ve dodged so many bad books and found so many incredible ones because of you so thanks Haley! I don’t think this book series is for me but I loved the review 💜
