Joy and McCoy make it seems like Justin Fields had stars on his team. They said the same thing and 49ers QB. They eating crow about that. The reason the Bears don't have a QB is because of terrible coaching. Mitch Trubisky wasn't as bad as everyone says. The kid led his team to playoff and did his job but coaching with horrible kicking ended they season. Bears need to stop giving up on QB and really develop them.

Chicago had the 2nd pick in 2017. They could have drafted Mahomes, but picked Trubisky. Kansas City fans thank you Chicago.

What would a successful season look like for Caleb? No injuries, win 4 games and Eberflus gets fired and replaced by a coach that ACTUALLY knows how to develop of QB.

They better win 10 games and make the playoffs. Cause they would have easily done that with Fields and this team.

Realistic expectations for this kid with the hype around him would be ATLEAST a playoffs

If the Bears defense continues to hold up, I think Caleb and his new receivers and running back should be good for at least 3 more wins. Not sure if 10 wins is good enough to make the playoffs though. But I CAN see them winning 12. Here is how: They split their 3 division games, lose at the Texans and lose to the Rams at home, that’s 5 losses. Then they go on the road and beat the Cardinals, Colts, Commanders and my 49ers, who will be dealing with their Super Bowl Jinx. And at home they beat the Titans, Patriots, Panthers, Jaguars and Seadogs. That leaves them at 12-5. We will find out by January if I am crazy or not.
