Yes, this describes my husband! My husband asked me 3 days after dating do I mind being a minister’s wife, then we were together EVERY single day and married exactly one year later. It’s been a BEAUTIFUL 26 years of marriage and we had never spent one married night apart until he was hospitalized for cancer treatment. He is in recovery now and we still love, value and honor each other. Our daughter is getting married in two weeks and I pray that her fiancé feels this way for her. It seems like he does! ❤️

A buddy of mine who is now in his late 60s told me stories about his parents who were married for quite a long time until they passed away. He told me that his dad was NEVER the type to say I love you or get mushy around her. However, he showed affection thru his actions. For example, Every morning while mom is getting ready for work as a school teacher, dad would make sure to get up earlier to clean the car from the morning dew, start the engine and turn the heater on so she doesn’t feel the early morning cold. He’s done that every day until she retired. It’s a Small gesture but leaves a lifetime memory filled with love & affection.
