A little bit about my blood sugar journey... I was told I was insulin resistant in 2017 after a glucose tolerance test my reproductive endocrinologist ordered for me when I was having trouble getting pregnant. And after conceiving, I was diagnosed with gestational diabetes very early on. Since then, I've been diligently learning about blood sugar dysregulation and gathering data through constant finger pricks and CGM experiments since I am now at greater risk for developing Type 2 Diabetes in the future. I've learned A LOT about what works and doesn't work for my body, and how my body responds to different foods. I hope this video helps you on your path to a healthier lifestyle! The only conclusion I drew from this post is that the bagel shop got your order wrong TWICE in a row! I don’t know why this triggered me so much since it wasn’t even my order or the point of the video 🤦🏽♀️🤷🏽♀️

Thank you for doing these experiments for all of us! Wishing you all the best!

Thank you for sacrificing yourself for the rest of us. My wife has a bag of bagels siting on the refrigerator. I have been avoiding them but I was weakening until I watched this video. You have saved me from certain doom.

I absolutely love your videos. They are very informative and helpful. The only thing I would change is the music -maybe some classical or upbeat instrumental? But love your content so much!! 💗

That was very interesting. Thank you for this test, but be careful ❤ take care

Quite comprehensive with 4 tests, well done and thanks 🎉

Thanks for the video. I figured out much the same in my own experiments: protein and fat first, then veggies, then carbs makes a massive difference. Just fyi I found that a 20 minute brisk walk drops me 50+ points, along with stopping any rising trend, while a 40 minute weight lifting session drops me 150-250+ points and stalls any rise for between 4 hours and 24 hours! The intense workout is sometimes too effective and I'll have to drink some juice to keep a level 100ish. Note: if I'm emotionally stressed, these workouts will raise my blood glucose, which is awful--no longer a hormetic stress, but just stress stress

This was very informative....thank you!!

Thanks for making these videos . They answer some of my burning questions about being diabetic. Before diagnosis I ate food and probably spiked and did not know or feel different . Now I am aware l can tell . Maybe it’s all in my head as you commented. I can only eat food as i want to not as experts advised. Sucks. Thanks for the video .
