Great job on the install! Those MS can be a pain for sure. I'm sure you'll get it figured out brother. If you need any help just give me a call.

TFI Modules use Thermal Paste. The PIP uses the Aluminum distributor as a heatsink. 94/95 mustangs moved them to a dedicated heatsink which helped alot. But yeah no dielectric grease. Use Thermal paste like Arctic Silver 5. make sure where it mounts is clean. use alcohol or fine sand paper to get it smooth as possible.

Loved your video. Nice job. It was better than most real movies I see these days. Hope you slved your problem. Check the coil next. That was my issue.

Nice video! When I had my micosquirt on my green car, I had a problem with my TFI breaking up at about 5500. long story short, I put a Holly crank trigger and went to Megasquirt! Keep your stock heads. Save your money on a heads, cam and intake upgrade! Your only going to add about 100-130hp with a HCI swap. Spend about the same money on injectors, fuel pump and a 67mm on3 turbo! 10psi will get you around 425-475whp! If you wanted to do head studs and good head gaskets would hurt anything! Just my 2 cents! Nice looking car!!

Thanks for the mention. Since yours was already broke it makes sense. I've really thought about the micro squirt as well. This is interesting and good video as usual Jim.

Hey man great looking Fox. I’m partial to white GTs. I’m running the microsquirt as well because the stock ecu was acting up. So far I’m very happy and the car runs a lot better. Part of your idle surge might be in the tune, it’s gonna take a little time to fine tune it. Good luck and I’m looking forward to see results from the TFS stuff

That is a clean body. I have a 88' GT ttop with a not so clean body that I'm trying to finish a build on. I recently dropped a 351W based stroker with a T56 magnum. I came across your video while looking up microsquirt info since that it was I am leaning towards for engine management.

Check the fuel regulator. The engine will start sucking fuel through the vacuum hose. You can look into doing the 5.0 explorer timing cover and balancer. Swap it to ls coils. Did that last year on my racetruck, never looked back
