Answer with confidence on your face. A confident person can crack any interview. Confidence speaks louder than words. So always be confident on yourself.

My weakness is that I tend to dwell on setbacks and think about what I could have done better. But lately I started to read and develop a more stoic mindset where I can accept the situation better and move forward.

My weakness is that i always have the idea when there are things that needs improvement in the company but i am shy or more often scared to share it with the group of people. Because i'm afraid they will not listen. But there was this time when i have read an article that says "failure is not about when you get rejected, failure is when you have the chance but you never tried.." then i realized that i should give it a try to share my ideas. Who knows it might work and help the company in the future.

I once interviewed for a steel shop, I had zero steel experience. I did however have some construction background. He asked me what are your weaknesses and why should I even hire you with no experience in this field. My response was that even though I had no experience I was a quick learner and could take coaching, what I will not bring with me is 20 years of bad habits. I can learn to do things the way you want them. Without hesitation he offered me the position.
  • - what is your greatest weaknesses? I'm too honest... - I don't think that's necessarily a weakness I don't give a F*** what you think.

Being an introvert is not something that is “fixable”. It IS a personality trait and it’s actually very powerful. Introverts are not shy. That’s a misconception. They simply choose very wisely when to speak and when not to. Big difference

I like how this guy gets right to the point instead of rambling on for 15 to 20 mins
  • @shaikhaafaque
The problem is that the interviewer is also watching this!
  • Being an introvert is a good answer for me because I really am an introvert 😂😂. Thank you
  • @ehabsaid8678
Hold on! Your answer to weaknesses questions as a shy, is not good answer for people who apply for sales position! Never ever say you're shy if you apply for sales
  • @Indeed
Great tip on talking about a skill you'd like to develop!

I got that question in my last interview. I responded with "I love technology and I think I waited too long in my career to become a people leader. I became a manager to temporarily fill an open role and discovered I really enjoyed helping people move their careers forward. I read a few leadership books and took some classes, finished my degree in management and got more foundational experience. Now I'm ready to make my next step up. How can we leverage my interests to solve your needs?" I got an offer that day.
  • Interviewer: tell me about ur stength Guy:well, i have many hidden talents Interviewer : like what Guy: idk, they r all hidden
  • Hiring manager: What are your weaknesses? Me: I can't seem to answer stupid questions
  • My weakness was that I want things to be completed fast and sometimes I do it myself instead of delegating it to my staff. And this makes me busy on works that my staff can do. I realized the issue, so I attended a course called “effective manager” from Novaliches. Where it tells me about time management and work delegation. and I now make it my skill that I always spend 30 seconds to decide if the work I should do or delegate it to my staff and the result is that I can spend time for setting goals and planning to do it

I wonder if interviewers watch these videos and know when YOU have memorized the answers. "Oh I see you have watched Dan Lok's videos."
  • @leom.9068
When asked for your weakness, always reply with "my areas of opportunities are...." Never called them a weaknesses, it's an area of opportunity that is supposed to be fixable and addressed.
  • Mr. Don Lok, you are doing a tremendous job for us, your audiences. Thank you for your dedication!
