  • For a 55'er like me, the OneWheel stands for: Freedom, Fun, Good feeling. Safer than driving a car.

Beautifully said by EVERYONE!! I love this video so much because it perfectly encapsulates all the feelings I donā€™t know how to articulate. I tend to go straight to describing mechanics šŸ˜‚. To those in the comments section, what does onewheeling mean to YOU?
  • Way to capture the whole community vibe in one video. This is pretty cool to watch and hear. Great job. šŸŽ‰ #letusride
  • Probably the best Onewheel video I've ever seen. Thank you.

As someone who has never board sported, discovering the Onewheel GT has opened up places in my own city I wouldā€™ve never thought to go. Every EVERY ride is an adventure. It stows away nicely in my car, it rolls with me to empty construction sites, it gives me an excuse to explore pretty cool spots during my sometimes long commute. Itā€™s a tool that I never new I needed in my life. Itā€™s a reason to go places. The GT didnā€™t just destroy boredomā€™s for me, it obliterated it. #letusride
  • Wow this was so well done. It literally got me choked up. Choked up because itā€™s true how important this device is to me as well. So many of the clips in this felt like I, myself was saying the words. The most accurate for me is the clipped wings part. When Iā€™m riding I feel special. I feel happy. I feel unique. I feel free. When riding Iā€™m focusing on what Iā€™m doing and the fun Iā€™m having and it completely drowns out all the negativity in the world. There are no politics when Iā€™m riding. Onewheel is my mental health tool. Onewheel has also resparked one of the most important friendships Iā€™ve had in my entire life. Iā€™m 41 now. When I was 15-22 I had a best friend named Scotty. We did everything together. We lived together. We chased girls together. We moved from one side of the country to the other side together to help a company we worked for. We were brothers. In my early 20ā€™s we both got busy in our own lives and lived an hour apart and almost lost full touch. Back in April of 2021, he already had a Onewheel and I reached out to him about my interest in it. At that point I ended up ordering my first Onewheel. Since that day back in April of 2021, we talk every day. We go riding any chance that we can. It resparked the entire friendship and I literally got my best friend in the world back because of this device. To say this product is important to me is beyond an understatement. This has turned into a true love and something I could never part with. Please let us continue to make our own adult decisions. #letusfloat #letusride
  • Onewheeling to me is a flow state machine and I always feel better after a ride. Every.Single.Time.Better.

Here's an edited version of what I said to someone that was contemplating buying a OW a couple years back: It is possibly my favorite piece of tech I have ever owned in my life, including various types of stereo equipment. The closest thing to it, I think, was when you got your first bike as a kid. All of a sudden your local environment - your everyday world - immediately got exponentially BIGGER, in a way even your first car doesn't really do, because a car has all that pressure associated with learning to drive it, and getting your license, and dealing with other drivers, and maintenance/gas/insurance money, etc. Your first car is FUN and GREAT...but it's not as fun and great as your first bike. Remember? You started looking around at all the places you could now get to on your bike, all the things that would be fun to ride your bike ON or OVER, and you wanted to take rides on that bike with no particular destination, just to see what was out there. A Onewheel is like a first bike, for grownup kids. That's how exciting it is.

Hell yeah!!!! If anything it feels like this whole thing has brought an already extremely supportive community even closer together.
  • For a 58 year old skateboarder with fucked up knees,OneWheeling has allowed me feel the joy of simply flowing down my sidewalk šŸ˜ŽšŸ¤™
  • Onewheeling is friendship, freedom, community, exploration, discovery, and adds beauty to life in ways you can't expect. Thanks TFL for protecting our right to ride. FOMF

I had friends as a kid but growing up, I forgot what that was like. Onewheeling brought me closer to people who share the same interests. While the concept of friends is still a bit lost on me and I'm still learning how to be one, it feels good to be considered as a friend.
