In this video you will see us go on our first island hopping boat adventure! My family and I headed across to Sabtang Island to go explore the famous stone houses and local villages. Filipinos in this part of the country build stone houses to help them deal with the harsh weather systems that pass through. Yes, life can be very difficult in Batanes, but the local Ivatans have adapted to not just survive... but thrive!
Besides walking around the incredible villages of Sabtang Island, we also ended up at a famous beach. Oh, and the boat ride was definitely a fun experience for my parents. This Filipino boat trip always has a few waves!
Canadians first time in Batanes... Exploring locals villages, and appreciating the amazing environment around them!

The only place in the philippines that has ZERO CRIME.that is why it is considered as heaven on earth.the people are so lovely and very welcoming.and the food.ooooooh man!mouth watering.i'm salavating right now just imaginning it.there is no boring time in batanes.
