Been acting forever and not dead or drugged out somewhere. A success story
  • Given what I saw in Arrested Development and Ozark, it's really hard for me to think of him as anything other than the most responsible man in the family.

Arrested Development was the most revolutionary show on TV, it went on to inspire so many shows based on its single-camera shoots and the pseudo-documentary style. So massively underrated.
  • He’s so talented. I’ve always loved Jason Bateman. But, I had no idea how unbelievably talented he was until I saw him in Ozark.

Dude started his career by the main motivation of skipping school. GOAT

I like how this guy is so calm ALL THE TIME. He never loses his cool or makes too much emotion. And if you're listening to him he's funny. It may be dry but he is funny. As a man, this is dope because he is always completely in control of the situation by not reacting, or overreacting. Sometimes he says nothing and just gives a look and the LOOK is saying a lot.
  • Down to earth guy, I had lunch with him a few years back and didn't even know he was an actor until my friend told me later. Anyway he probably appreciated it that we treated him like just another good guy.

Its insane how Jason Bateman was stuck in the sitcom circuit for decades. Just imagine how many talented actors and actresses never got big breaks because they couldn't break out of small roles on sitcoms.

Oh my god Jason Bateman literally has had the same mannerisms his whole life. The crossing arms over chest and bouncing on his tippy toes, lacing his hands. He truly is a hilarious and amazing actor.
  • Starting as young as he did and getting as big as he did so early and has yet to destroy his life and not sell out is rare. Love this guy
  • @EdKaine
I love Jason’s humility and humanness. He’s surprisingly grounded. Oh… Hancock was a great role for him too that even highlights that.
  • No mention of Horrible Bosses?! One of the most underrated movies, ever!

Crazy it feels like he’s still Marty n he left the casino to come shoot this as a side gig to launder money for the Navarro cartel

So many great movies, I like how chill he's when it comes to acting, doesn't seem forced or exaggerated, naturally flows always in character 10/10

I followed Jason Bateman's career since his youth, and it was always evident that he had talent but also a unique quality that was never really utilized in his early TV and movie roles. I was so happy to see his career shift after Arrested Development into projects and material where he finally could showcase his distinct comedic and dramatic talents.

He's so good at dead-pan that I was almost sold on that atrocity Teen Wolf Too being a 3-time Acedmy Award winner.
  • @TheGreatAlan75
Let's be honest, "Ozark" is the greatest show since Breaking Bad..
  • @RS-jb1lf
How could he possibly skip The Change-Up?! It was excellent!

Nobody does "taken against their will" scenes like Bateman. He makes the panic and chaos seem so real. I noticed it when he did the Movie The Kingdom.
