Bill Skarsgård takes on the iconic role of THE CROW in this modern reimagining of the original graphic novel by James O’Barr.

Soulmates Eric Draven (Skarsgård) and Shelly Webster (FKA twigs) are brutally murdered when the demons of her dark past catch up with them. Given the chance to save his true love by sacrificing himself, Eric sets out to seek merciless revenge on their killers, traversing the worlds of the living and the dead to put the wrong things right.

This teaser looks like the intro for American Horror story.

Brandon Lee = 28 years old R. I. P 31 March 1993 Bruce Lee's son the crow 1994. A great movie❤ People once believed that when someone dies, a crow carries their soul to the land of the dead. But sometimes, something so bad happens that a terrible sadness is carried with it and the soul can't rest. Then sometimes, just sometimes, the crow can bring that soul back to put the wrong things right... If the people we love are stolen from us, the way to have them live on is to never stop loving them. Buildings burn, people die, but real love is forever.

As someone who absolutely adores the Brandon Lee film, I'm willing to give this a shot. That being said, it has a LOT of work to do to overcome those TERRIBLE first impressions. Like the movie basically has to be flawless just to be considered good at this point.

After the photos release I'm very underwhelmed. Bill looks like Jared Leto's Joker.

no possibility to touch even the tone of the 94 movie

Bill Skarsgård is GOOD as heck but the tatoos, the haircut... Just SO BAD. Not the Crow.

"Tell me you don't understand the original movie or the comic..." Watches teaser... "Ok you have no fucking clue. Good."

I have a deep respect for the original 1994 film. I very well remember the world mourning the untimely death of Brandon Lee. I would have preferred that the original film be left alone to stand as a testament to the memory of Brandon, but obviously the filmmakers don’t share my opinion. So I wish this new film much success if for no other reason than to honor Brandon’s portrayal. Bill Skarsgard is a fine actor and I’m sure he went into this role understanding the enormity of the situation and the large shoes he was stepping into. So let’s just wait and see what the filmmakers have done. The movie may be good. It will never have the impact of the original, but perhaps it can create its own space.

They should of just made a new story for the Crow instead of a remake.
  • @Rodeo_Wizard
The original Crow film back in 1994 with the late Brandon Lee is a masterpiece and doesn't deserve a remake. Remaking the Crow is like a big slap to the face to the late Brandon Lee and it's like disrespecting the legacy.
