DIY Dueling Tree Target-NO WELDING.

This is to demonstrate how to build a dueling tree without welding. Using 2x4's and some basic tools, you too can enjoy this fun target.
Tools Used:
1-Inch Drill bit
3/4 inch drill bit
One more drill bit to pre-drill for screws
3-inch screws
Saw of some sort to cut 2x4's to the desired length
Some passion to get the job done and remember safety first.

Thanks for actually shooting your target in the video. This is a good cheap option.

One issue I had a run in with is the tube would get blown out the block on the back. I screwed on some cheap metal plates to the blocks and it solved that issue.

Great idea, but WOW those are thick paddles. Were those 6” diameter?

What about doing a 15/16 hole and hammer the tube in for a pressure fit?

James excellent! I don't weld, don't have equipment nor space for welder. Like this, cannot leave at Range, have idea to make base transportable, able to remove etc.? Thanks.

Only problem if you have someone shoot and miss and hit the 2x4 it will rip it to pieces I made a wood target and had a new shooter that ripped it to shreds

Looks great- until you hit the upright 2x4. Range day over, tree target dead.

Seems dangerously high. Like the top target you would be shooting upward.
