EPIC Q&A: Atheist Student Begins to Change His Mind in a rare moment of cognitive dissonance giving way to thought. Frank Turk does a brilliant job of patiently walking this young man through his knowledge gaps and errors in reasoning, but most importantly, he helps to guide him one step closer to God.

Here is the Original video from Franks channel called ‪@CrossExamined‬ :    • A Challenge To The Moral Argument

I love how these young folks are there not to win an argument but to seek truth. And they're humble enough to admit when they see truth.
  • @gabrielstille5502
The level of respect and open-mindedness in that conversation was incredible, we need more people who debate that way
  • @Practicaleyes
I did not agree with the young man's argument but what made my heart sing was the realisation that, amongst all the "mob-think" and crazy ideas flooding social media these days, there are sincere, respectful and inquisitive young people who are genuinely searching for liveable truth. It takes a lot of courage to stand in front of an audience and submit your core thoughts for scrutiny. The way both Frank and the student handled themselves was brilliant.

When you strongly disagree with someone it can be difficult to say "Yeah, you might have a point." But good on him. I'm glad to see there are still people who can have intelligent and mature conversations.

That young man was indeed seeking truth. I pray he finds it
  • @hilhillrn
I audibly gasped when the guy was like, “You know, I think you’re right” 😂 that rarely happens!
  • Good job Nathaniel, congratulations on your humility - something many people never achieve even into their elder years

It was such a delight to see that they were both very respectful towards one another. I pray for that young man’s salvation. 🙏
  • @Skyscraper21
This is such a rare moment. 1) nobody is overly interrupting and 2) people actually listen to arguments of the other side. This is so unusual nowadays. We need to restore this culture

It's so nice to see people having philosophical discussions without shouting or name calling, this is what school should be like
  • @richmcguire317
An open mind brings an open heart. Good for him. 🙏🏼
  • This literally brought tears...honest expression of what is on his mind and then his heart being pricked. Caught on camera! I am enjoying this content because it helps to prepare me (only along with studying Scripture) as a disciple of CHRIST to have conversations with people who have challenges, concerns, and good questions about GOD and HIS Word. Thank you!!!

God bless Nathaniel! He was well educated, smart, a good debater and most importantly… was open minded and was seeking the truth. He was respectful the entire time. THIS is what a healthy discussion and debate should look like with two people with differing opinions. Not all the screaming and disrespect and character attacking we see today.
  • @PillageMontage
Wow. I haven’t seen a student ask such philosophical questions in this way. I’m used to the screaming and not allowing another argument. Props to this kid and the professor. They never disrespected each other and had a nice diplomatic discussion
  • @AricRastley
I respect this man for being so open minded, We need more people like this.

Frank Turek is an incredible speaker and incredibly wise. I absolutely love him!

Why do most people assume that if their mind is changed they’ll look stupid, weak, wrong, etc? To me, this kid looks very intelligent…you can almost see his brain getting smarter as it creates new understanding. People who are open to considering other points of view aren’t weak and wrong, their confident and authentic.
  • @brianshroyer8473
I love what Frank does… He makes people take their arguments to completion and asks where they get those arguments…
  • @sheilal5852
These are the kinds of debates/q & a’s I appreciate. Respectful with honest and sincere questions and thoughts.

Nathaniel is good to listen to because he argues in good faith. He has been arguing concepts and ideas and never made it personal. Good for him.
