Deep in Siberia's Taiga forest is Vissarion, a cult leader who looks like Jesus and claims to be the voice of God. He's known as "the Teacher" to his 4,000 followers, who initially seem surprisingly normal. Over time, however, their unflinching belief in UFOs and the Earth's imminent demise made this group start to look more and more like some sort of strange cult.

  • I’m not even trippn he thinks he’s Jesus. I’m more scared of the people who think he’s Jesus.
  • "Do not try to be superior to those around you. That leads to death" -guy who has spent his entire existence pretending to be superior to those around him.

So basically, he grew his hair and grew a beard and was like 'lol, I look like Jesus' and made his own town

Okay so hear me out, a few months ago I just watched a documentary about a man from Australia who absolutely says he's Jesus. He, as well has a huge following. Apparently there's also a man in Brazil as well as a man from Africa (actually I think there's two or three from Africa) who also claims to be the one and only Jesus of Nazareth... We should definitely put them all in a room together, no holds bar deathmatch of crazy. How about a documentary about that, vice?

Imagine you think you’re meeting Jesus and instead it’s just a dude who used to give parking tickets

His mum probably told him he was special and he took it to heart.
  • @TBehm2
These people following him are even crazier than the guy thinking he's Jesus.
  • The shot where we see him for the first time coming down the hill would be a great scene in a found footage cult horror film

I always wanted to live in a close community in the country with simple life, but lack of health care and especially access to dental care is a deal breaker for me. I imagine if person gets sick or need dental care, they just do chanting and singing. Plus there no alcohol and its my medicine for lots of things.

Every night he goes back to his mansion, and laughs his ass off at how he’s fooling thousands.

seeing him come down looking like he's from 200 BC and sitting in some old wooden throne only to whip out a MICROPHONE took me out
