Based on the popular book by Peppo (Douglas Simonson). Aired November 24, 1983 on KGMB TV in Honolulu, Hawaii. Mahalo & Aloha!

    I was one of the actors in this show, and taped it when broadcast on KGMB. Also, Peppo and Tremaine were friends of mine. I agree..."political correctness" ruins everything! Mahalo.

    KGMB only shot 3 Pidgin special shows back in the 1980s. I wish it was a series!

    Now that KHNL, KGMB, and K5 has merged, maybe we can put in a request for them to air these old local shows. Probably on K5, since they are more focused on local programming such as Merrie Monarch, Local Concerts, and UH Sports events.
