I cannot believe Aunjanue Ellis felt nobody was watching her. She is so magnetic and a transcendent actress! My family and I watched The Book of Negros all together one Thanksgiving and I was immediately captivated. It’s been Aujanue ever since for me!
  • This is soo strange- how these sisters create an entire episode just for me? Talking right to me- reminding me of the things I need to be reminded of. That's why I keep KeKe on my work play list.....
  • Her work was brilliant on Lovecraft Country she embodied that character as well as the iconic Dr. Mattie Moss Clark. Her artistic skill is to be marveled and appreciated 👏🏽. I can't wait to see her in more roles that reflect her depth of acting skills.

28:30 The way she just explained darkness-- the womb and rejuvenation of nighttime… That preached!

Seeing keke wearing this same dress in a few of the recent videos made me realize how many episodes they shoot in a single day & realizing that, made me realize how many times Keke & Sharon gotta pretend to say “hey & bye” like it’s their first time 😂😂🤣😭😭

  • i watched this yesterday on spotify and was super thirsty for it to load here. loved Loved LOVED this episode. The "you see who im with" was SO funny to me. that was SO real. I LOVEEEEE me some Aunjanue Ellis-Taylor. Love her reasoning behind her hyphenated last name too. Everything is so intentional and that DEEPLY resonates.

Two things I hope people comprehend: 1. An artist/entertainer income is not always their own, but it's shared and spread across their community. 2. Depending on your marginalizations, your craft isn't only your own, you have to present and represent in a way that is meaningful for your community. ❤ (only 23mins into the video).
