Simon the real MVP I watch his ups and downs more than I watch wrestling nowadays
-
Honestly, Kofi not landing his spot is representative of the whole show
-
"When we got to the end, I felt dissapointed" that is basically the quote of the entire night.
-
When asked what he meant by, “He made me do it,” Roman replied with, “I did it for da Mox.”
-
The shield entrance was the only time I was genuinely happy the whole show.
-
Never thought I'd say this in 2022, but good job by WWE with Mickie... Hardcore Country, title belt, and having her eliminate McCool as a callback to the old Piggie James debacle...
-
Micky James coming out with the Impact Title is pretty much the only up of the night for me. So awesome to see it
-
So disappointed asuka didn't make a return. I'm anticipating her release. Shocking that the likes of Finn Balor and Cesaro didn't have a spot either, and no impactful returns in the men's at all. So sad.
-
Cesaro, Balor, and/or potential Nxt call ups being overshadowed by Bad Bunny, Knoxville and Shane McMahon. That was atrocious tbh. We try to enjoy wwe every now and then, but they sure find ways to make us dislike them.

hit the nail on the head, it was short sighted booking. They had an easy story with Lesnar going after Roman due to the attack by Reigns and Heymans betrayal. So they could of used the rumble to push someone towards Lashley. They've put all their eggs in the Roman v Lesnar match which we all knew was going to happen.
-
I was there so I'm not sure if it was shown on PPV (probably not) but Phoenix and Edge went over and got their children before they walked up the ramp after their victory. Before they went out of sight the entire family struck a pose. It was amazing. Deserved an extra up for the live event.

Seth's Shield entrance, Vega dawning Madara inspired gear and Mickie as Impact champion were the only good things this Rumble
-
WWE basically reiterated that the only story that matters, and that will always matter is Brock vs Roman. For the 1000th time
-
Seth vs Reigns was literally the best match of the show, I wish we could get a rematch of that instead of Reigns vs Lesnar for the (what feels like) the 100th time.
-
I got to go to this for my very first live show, and I loved it! But as a viewer at home, I can see why you'd be disappointed. The crowd LOVED the roman/seth fight until the ending and we bood hard lmao. The back of the Wrestlemania sign caught on fire during Becky's match and they had to bring it down, which really distracted the crowd/blocked some views. They had to keep the cameras off of that side almost the whole match and try not to show any angle with the sign in it. Guessing no spots allowed there either, I felt bad for them because they looked like they were pouring a lot into it. They lowered it, put it back up, and it caught fire again at the very end of the Rumble when Brock won/while he was pointing to it lmao. Seth came down right by my aisle for his entrance, and I was pretty close by which made it pretty insane. Lot of people got good pops, I think the crowd was pretty tired when Randy came out because I was expecting a bigger pop for him since he's from St. Louis but he was one of the last entrants so everyone was exhausted by then lol. Brock got some pretty big pops. Ivory was pretty hilarious.
-
I totally agree that Ivory was the best thing of the whole Rumble event.
-
I feel like WWE could've gotten to Ronda/Becky and Roman/Brock without having Ronda and Brock win the rumble matches. The stories were already there.
-
There was no Finn Balor or Cesaro but they found space for bad bunny and Shane McMahon
-
Out of the hundred things that happened on the ppv, there are seriously only four things I loved: Seth's entrance, Seth vs Roman, Mickie James, and Ronda's return. This men's Royal Rumble really might be the worst one ever.

Always funny how replacement referees just slid in to count pinfalls, completely ignoring anything illegal that happened just before that
