As an OG fnaf fan I can say: It’s not correct to the lore and the actual animator does this to all horror games (more easier to say: the person who made it doesn’t understand the lore and makes the content that YouTubers watch thinking it’s right but it’s a whole lot of waffle)

If you're saying since Gregory and the Crying Child look similar they're the same, that means the Older Brother isn't Michael, because they look nothing alike. So looks don't always mean everything. Even if the Crying Child isn't Michael, he's not Gregory tho.
