My most favorite performance of Southern Man. Just one acoustic guitar and single voice. Nothing more is needed.

Still makes me weep. Southern (Wo)Man.

I was there 2 nights before this ( he played 4 nights). It was magical. It was also about 5 deg Fahrenheit outside. Everyone knew they were witnessing greatness and incomparable genius. When the tickets went on sale it crashed the server ( wasn’t through Ticketmaster). I guess Carnegie Hall wasn’t used to a Neil Young solo concert going on sale. I thought to call the box office directly and a nice women answered “how many do you need”. I had my seating chart open, she sold me two, and that was that. Probably the way Neil would like it- no scalpers or computers, just talking to a nice young lady at the box office.

This song always ends up at the top of the playlist.... It's a musical masterpiece.
