Yes, this frog likely wants to eat you. The pixie frog, or African Bullfrog, is a large, carnivorous, amphibian that is not for the faint of heart! This little guy is quickly becoming one of our favorite animals in our collection! This is not what we would label as a good animal for kids---or a good animal for handling. However, if you are looking for a unique exotic pet that will be a fantastic conversation starter, this may be a good one for you!

    Can you develop a relationship over its lifetime to let it sit on your hand for a minute or two without trying to attack you or is that not to be expected? I understand you shouldn’t touch frogs, but I’ve heard that with bullfrogs it’s OK specifically in moderation.
