This is a really eye-opening video. Even though I know the loop capabilities are there and I have experimented with them a bit, I hadn't thought of working with loops in this way. Thanks for another great tip!
  • @Eggospartan
I immediately disregarded the feature when it released, this is inspiring!

Your guitar was made by Samick in South Korea in the mid 1980s. They made thousands of les Paul’s and sg under the name hondo, I have a westbury from the same factory. American companies would request which names to have and from a distance Gilbert looked like Gibson. They are fantastic guitars as made almost as well as the Gibsons at a quarter of the price.

This is really cool! What a great way to record loops and arrange it into a full fledged song.
  • Very helpful video. So many things i've learned, thanks you.

Excellent video. You explained it extremely well at a great pace. Thanks
  • I’ve watched so many other videos and this one was by far the most simple and easy to follow explanation. Exactly what I was looking for! Thank you

Might be a cool workflow for songwriting. I’ll give it a try. Thanks for throwing the idea!

I've been thinking that this was a possibility for guitar/bass/drums composition, but haven't yet set out to try it. Thanks for not only showing how to do it, but also some really nice right-click options and nuances for using this in a very practical way for guitar, bass, drum composition.

Chris! I just started composing with Live Loops a few weeks ago, but you just showed me so much more potential. Also - you made the drummer (sounds like Kyle) sound pretty realistic in this arrangement and gave me some inspiration. Great stuff!

  • @Willsonix
That’s really helpful, I had never considered using live loops for recording and arranging my own material.
  • Thank you Chris for sharing this in depth! Yes it was again helpful!
  • @aim.1

  • @risengrind6268
great video. you have a great skill of explaining things so easy to understand
  • Thanks for this! I've been a bit intimidated to learn this UI, and i'm less electronica based, but this has been a great introduction for standard songwriting usage. The quantizing! Now I see how I could play guitars live, but still have enough simplicity to trigger this near the end of sections to extend my band's live performances. Awesome.

Awesome! You explained several features that had been a mystery to me as a conventional track by track producer.
