In his first news conference in nearly two years, South Korean President Yoon Suk-yeol pledged to tame inflation and create a new ministry to boost the country’s birth rate. He also sought to draw a line under the so-called handbag saga involving his wife, describing First Lady Kim Keon-hee’s actions were “unwise”.
