Millcast Episode 88: Retreat Announcement

Published 2024-07-22
Plan your Vermont fiber getaway for next year by signing up for our 2025 Farm + Fiber Retreat. We're thrilled to bring back our retreats and share all the details with you. In this episode, we also showcase some stunning two-ply 100% Finn yarn we recently processed for a customer. Our needles have been busy with the Lindal Sweater KAL (knit-along) that’s currently underway, and there's still time to join the fun. Plus, we've added a few new yarn bundles to our website for project inspiration, including the brand new FRAMED sweater by Andrea Mowry. Don't forget to like, subscribe, and hit the notification bell so you never miss an update. Visit our website at junctionfibermill.com for more details. Happy knitting!

My family is from Ontario and took holidays for over 10 years to Smuggler’s Notch Vermont. I LOVE VERMONT!! I need to visit again. Lovely State and great people. Thanks for the memories.
  • Love this bike and brew idea!!! I think I’d need my training wheels by the end!😃😂👏🏼 thanks you guys🧶🧶🧶
  • Another great Millcast, ladies! Sorry you’re having to deal with all the heat and humidity you’ve had. At least you cool off at night unlike here in Dallas and hopefully cooler temperatures will be there soon. 🤞

  • We had our yarn hop this last weekend and I was so excited to see your yarn in Fiber Circle Studia in Petaluma, CA. I made sure and bought some and also made sure to mention you in my video going up tomorrow. Lovely yarn, so excited to have it.
  • Oh my gosh ….. I’m trying to figure pot how to come to the retreat! As a New Englander who has lived in the south for a LONGGG time, it’s always good to come home!!

Thanks for a fun podcast. Last Friday was a two county yarn hop where I live in northern California. I walked into Full Circle in Petaluma and a beautiful table of Making Tracks was right at the front door. Of course I fondled it and had to look at the colors before starting with a constellation of purples.

Weather talk : in sept and part of august you get the heat WITHOUT the humidity 👍

I’m not much of a planner, but I signed up for the retreat the second I got your email. It sounds amazing! (And no matter how miserably hot and humid VT can be in July, I’ll be escaping my home in Northern Virginia).
  • Thanks Amanda and Peggy for another Millcast. Your sweater & cardigan are coming along nicely. The retreat sounds fabulous.
