    Basically that is a feature. Normally breaking the redstone block will deactivate The piston because the Redstone block updates the piston. (Breaking a block or any other kind of tampering with any block will update the surrounding blocks, this is how sand chains work.) But in your case the redstone is two blocks away, so it doesn't update, but when you break the sand block it finally updates and realizes that it doesn't have a power source, so THEN it deactivates.

    There's a more efficient way for the finding diamond with lapis trick. All you have to do is find lapis, face North (it must be north) go straight 4 blocks, and dig down on the fourth block. You should find diamonds every time!! Thanks for 44 likes!

    14:37 Actually, you need a elytra for it to work. U fly and get in the boat at the same time, and them boom. The fly animation is still there, while ridding the boat
