She went from being a famous movie star to a young nervous Beatles fan before our eyes.

What I love about this is that Paul actually seems uncomfortable with getting these kind of attention. He always makes a lot of jokes to deflect his embarrassment and that says a lot about his self humility - love the guy 🤘

Meryl was at the shea stadium, she was one of those beatles fangirls. Can't imagine how I would feel if I was her
-
Meryl is fangirling over Paul
-
Meryl’s description of Paul has brought me to tears. 😢😢 She talked of him so accurately and beautifully.
-
Holy Lord. That's Meryl. She looks so beautiful.
-
Paul is a rockstar, comedian, family man and philanthropist all in one. What a joy to witness such an amazing human being. Love you Paul!!!
-
When the Grammy's actually had credibility
-
“If you told me I’d still be rockin after all these years” Wow that was 1990. I saw him 2018 . Still captivating . Best song writer/ rocker EVER!
-
Paul is the best....he continued his music after the beatles and he deserves this award.
-

-
Let's not even talk about his genius as a singer and songwriter, whenever Paul speaks, he never ceases to amuse, amaze, and impress. Thank you so much for being you!
-
What a speech!!!!! Love this man dearly. What a wonderful gift he is to our world

Paul is a Musical Genius

It was around this time that Paul came to terms with his Beatle past. He has done the 7:20 "best band in the world" bit ever since, but it's great to see him doing it here as it feels genuine and fresh. Plus, they were the greatest.

40 years and still here with us 🤗🤗🤗🤗

I cant believe there is my hero Paul McCartney in America, and he's from here in Liverpool in our little road!!- makes me very proud!
-
Lucky Meryl, all those kisses! Or, Lucky Paul. Linda probably just giggled.
-
I'm not sure anyone noticed Paul did a little Beatles bow after his speech which was really sweet!

The love of my life. He will live forever in our hearts through his music. If I were Meryl I would’ve fallen through that floor when he came out...
