A draft US law is casting a cloud over some Chinese pharma firms, as it aims to block certain foreign biotech companies from accessing US federal contracts on national security grounds. Bloomberg's Michelle Cortez and Bernstein's Rebecca Liang discuss the implications.

    THERE ARE OVER 2000 AMERICAN COMPANIES OPERATING IN CHINA. THEIR GROSS REVENUE LAST YEAR WAS ALMOST 480 BILLION DOLLARS. AND AMERICAN EXPORTS TO CHINA WAS AROUND 158 BILLION. CURRENTLY CHINA IS WORKING ON LIFTING ANOTHER 300 MILLION CHINESE CITIZENS OUT OF POVERTY. BASED ON EVERY ECONOMIC FACT, CHINA IS THE WORLDS LARGEST CONSUMER MARKET FOR RHE FORDEABLE FEATUR AND THE NEW LEADER IN GLOBAL GDP GROWTH. I AN AMERICAN BUSINESS MAN AND I LOOK AT DATA AND NUMBERS NOT EMOTIONS..THIS COUNTRY IS BECOMING A JOKE.
