This understanding is so, so needed in this society and in the world. I feel disheartened that the only aspect of Woman which is acceptable to the ruling patriarchy is the sexual, Aphrodite aspect. As an elderly woman, I feel the only way to promote the Sacred Feminine for me is to withdraw from mainstream society altogether.

I have a problem that I believe hinders me from finding deities. Self love, I do not have any, with my life experiences/happenings what ever you want to call them. I believe this all holds me back. I have been trying to reach divinity since April of this year. Prior to this I was ready to die, literally. I have found the wiccan tradition and this seems to be the path for me as I don't have the trust of the traditional religions'.
