Keanu has the most intense eyes. I don't think anyone else could have pulled off this role so well.

1:49 God, I love Alfie Allen's acting here. He did a great job portraying the pants-shitting terror Iosef suddenly realized he should have had the entire time

0:56 Why does this song go so well with that moment? It turns something horrific into something almost beautiful. The way John looks him right in the eyes whilst he's killing him, it's strange how much a song can change a scene.

I loved that moment at 1:45 when John is aiming right at Reek, but decides not to kill him because he hasn't suffered enough, and the song goes "think... of me". That's just genius level of editing.
  • This scene is GOD level of Editing, Directing, Choreography, and Music. It gives me chills to see this level of mastery and brilliance.

0:57 is my favorite kill in the whole series! You have to be so cold-blooded to watch another man slowly pass from life to death like that with no emotion. Watching the (light) in the man's eyes go out and glaze over as the music artist sings, "I am your light, your light, your liiiiight." Then the symbol of him wearing his wedding ring. They brought John back to this dark place. This was cinematic and editing genius! What an intimate kill! 😊
  • Everyone references the scene where john stabs the guy and stares him in the eyes. Its a powerful scene no doubt. However, the most intense scene is when he makes it to the pool area and could easily take yosef out, but instead stares into his eyes while he shoots the security dude. So powerful. Its as id john is letting yosef know that he could kill him now, but rather inflict the overwhelming pain of jihn chasing him then to just kill him.
  • 0:57 was so badass from the way he just looked at him as he was dying, it just gave me chills

This is hands down the best scene in all of the John Wick movies. The fact that he doesn't kill the kid when he could have so easily. Like a lion playing with it's food. The play on colors. Red says Wick is not in control. When it turns blue John takes control. Don't even get me started with the staring kill against a wall. The staring in general is so terrifying. And when he misses the target on purpose just to terrorise him more mentally.

"When Helen died, I lost everything. Until that dog arrived on my doorstep... A final gift from my wife... That moment I received some semblance of hope, an opportunity to grieve un-alone... Your son took that from me, your son stole that from me... YOUR SON KILLED THAT FROM ME!"

This is one of the Sexiest Soundtrack for John Wick's Movie :D

When John is in blue light, he’s wining & killing. When John is in red light, he’s struggling/losing.

2:36 notice how when the focus is on Theon, the camera is almost shaky but on John it’s still and calm.

0:09 anyone notice how John closing the door synced with the song perfectly??

0:56 the lyrics "I am your light" that also rhyme with "your love", as he stare deep into his eyes , intimately yet calmly watching him dying slowly, what a deadly beautiful portrait.
