Dimash is a 29-year-old Kazakh vocalist and composer; He speaks Kasakh, Russian and English and is learning Mandarin Chinese. He sings in more than 14 languages, plays 7 musical instruments. He graduated from the Kazakhstan University of Arts with a master's degree in composition and I was informed that he is completing a doctorate in musicology. He also dances, acts and is an advertising model (he is 6.3 feet tall). He has received countless awards and honors around the world. He was recently in Los Angeles, USA, working on new material of his that his fans (he affectionately calls us "dears") are eagerly awaiting. He is a kind, polite and compassionate person, proud of his culture and his country.

He competed in a show that had been only for professional Chinese singers. He was the first foreigner and the youngest singer in the show's history. He was 22 and the others were 12-39 yrs. his senior. He was presented as a dark horse, and not expected to make it past the 2nd. round. He blew them out of the water. He came in second place because they had to save face and he was denied his rightful win. I watched the entire show, even the other singers. That's how I know because I heard them all. They were very good, but no match for Dimash. I loved your reaction and can understand how you are at a loss for words. You ain't heard nothing yet.

The first time I introduced Dimash to my family, they thought he was mechanically enhanced and it wasn't real. I mean I was astounded that I was showing them someone so talented and they had to discount it. Of course years later, one of my children comes to me and says "Mom I have to show you this Dimash!" and I facepalmed a bit lol. Everytime I listen to him, I get goosebumps. Kazakhstan, 29 years old, this is one of the 5 hardest songs to sing in French, from Starmania. He will floor you every time you hear another of his songs, he is such a miracle in our midst. Fluent in Kazakh, and Russian, learning English, sings in at least 13 languages, including Mandarin plays a bunch of instruments, composes, has great stage presence, I could go on and on. Totally amazing human being, he touches us deeply.

Dimash Qudaibergen (di-MOSH Koo-dye-BEHR-gen) is a talented artist from Kazakhstan who began his formal training at the age of 5. He is professionally trained in opera, contemporary music, and musical theater. His diverse discography includes genres such as pop, R&B, EDM, rock, folk/traditional, neo-classical, opera, and even rap and hip-hop with a vocal range of 7+ octaves: C1-D8(which doesn't exist on a standard 88-key piano). Welcome to Dimash world! From a Dear in Summerville South Carolina. I have been a Dear, that’s what Dimash calls his fans, since 2017. He is an international star, he has fans all over the world, his fans travels & cross oceans to see & support his concerts. I have been to 2, his concert in NY at Barclay Stadium in 2019 & last December in Hongkong. I’m sure other Dears will tell you all about Dimash so I’ll end here.
