From Miserable Homemaker to Joyful Homemaker

I just told My oldest son (23) the other day. That as My Husband and I come upon 26 years of Marriage. How the Lord has done Amazing things in Our Marriage! Also had so much Mercy and Grace on Us. As you talked about Tip number two. I thought of the Movie War Room. The Older Lady speaking into the Younger Woman. How her Husband was not her Enemy! She needed to do her Fighting on Her Knees in Prayer, Amen! I Pray for all Marriage that are Struggling to Focus on Jesus and Put him at the Center. Such a Need for Us Ladies to keep each other in Prayer! What You shared at the End is something I have been thinking about lately.

This video was an extreme blessing to me that I had to listen twice and take notes! All of your videos richly bless me. I thought I didn't need this video but there were some great tips that I still needed to hear. I will speak, decree, and declare and do my part in Jesus name. Your video encouraged me to go into such a tearful gratitude of thanksgiving to God for my beyond amazing husband who does love me beyond well, appreciates me, steps up and goes out of his way to help serve when he truly doesn't have to and he shows his love with endless actions and tangible gifts. I thank God for your prayer that everything that my husband does is a bonus because it truly is and I'm beyond thankful. I also thank God for our four children and how they help me, serve with me, express their love in actions and words, and celebrate me along with my husband. I thank God that there is no distance in the Spirit and I get to have you as my sister in Christ. Your channel is so largely important to me. I thank God for voices like yours to pour into me as God is always sanctifying me to become the Titus 2 wife, mother, homemaker, homeschooler that He had already purposed for me to be. God bless you, your marriage, children, home, homeschool, and homestead all richly and thank you for your labor of love to share Christ through your words and actions. Hallelujah! I am a living testimony of that situation; God has turned my household around after covid hit. We’re going from glory to glory 🙏❤️

I think the part about starting with yourself is key! Ultimately we can only control our own actions, so focus on our actions, and leave the rest. Most husbands are just unaware, and even if we have a conversation and they choose not to change, well, guess what? We chose them! So we should love unconditionally and accept our spouse for who they are. My husband is great, but I still had to accept certain aspects of him and leave it alone. Some women may have to remind themselves daily of the qualities of their husbands which made them fall in love with him. Two good book recommendations: fascinating womanhood and, The proper care and feeding of husbands. Take care!
