Well-known South African author Deon Meyer and legendary musician Coenie de Villiers have staged one of the most spectacular productions at the 28th annual Klein Karoo National Arts Festival.
'Roem' is a musical about a man, his music and his attempt to prevent his talented daughter from being tempted by fame, as he once was. Some of the country's best actors and musicians work together on stage, with a story that begins in the Karoo and moves to the bright lights of the big city.
