Why are they dehumanizing the other child. That baby was conscious and alive but sadly and unfortunate did not have a body like her sibling that's all. Just sad. Rest up sweet princess. 🙏🏿
-
Referring to the conjoined twin as “IT” made me sick.
-
this mama needs a hug. so much pain in her eyes at the loss of her first baby, it must have broke to lose the second, and the third isn't mentioned after birth and naming. I hope they are doing well. my heart to them.
-
That little baby was beautiful. Those beautiful eyes and lashes. Rest in paradise little ones.
-
I’m actually quite disgusted in Oprah and the full way she’s talking about the twin , how she’s being invasive and taking the blanket away from the babies head , there’s zero sympathy for the twin that lost their life ...

The mom looked sad and depressed
-
The brain is the core function of the mind and body. The 2nd twin was not a parasite. But a fully aware living and breathing human being, who was trapped inside a mutated body. I would cry all day if I was trapped inside my own mind with no way of ever being able to communicate of function. The 2nd twin probably felt all the emotions but never got the same hugs or comforting as the 1st twin did. 😥

I saw this when it first aired. I remember thinking how uncomfortable the mother looked. It was almost like she felt that her baby was being put on display and she didn’t like it. Maybe that was me projecting my emotions onto the mother.
-
Oprah is out of line for removing the scarf of of the baby's head. That was eery to watch.
-
There should be a 'Where are they now' part to this video.
-
I can only imaging the pain this young mother felt when Oprah referred to the smaller twin as a parasitic head. Irrespective of her physical appearance, she was a daughter, a sister, a grandchild and deserved the love, respect and dignity given to any able bodied child.
-
Just imagine how much heart break the mother must be going through and actually you can see that in her eyes
-
They are calling the other baby an it.She/he was a person too!
-
Its sad the other baby was just looked at like nothing since she didnt have a full body. Sad. She had a soul im sure
-
My heart goes out to the babies, especially Islaam who keeps getting referred to as a a thing, an it, a parasitic head. It pains me to see this poor child be classed as some kind of disease when the poor girl was just unfortunate to not have her own body. Rest in peace love. And you too Manar, I hope you both found each other in the afterlife whatever it may be <3 Edit I fixed spelling mistakes
-
Make me cry for the other baby. Poor bubby, my soul melts.👼🏻
-
Oprah removing the covering on the baby was just plain rude. It was obvious that the mother did not want that. Manar's mom is a dignified lady and deserved respect in regards to her baby.
-
Seeing the pain on the other babies face broke my heart. They're wrong for calling the baby a parasite. Islam didn't deserve this treatment. Islam was a human being who felt pain. Islam smiled, cried, drank milk. Islam deserved love too.
-
I can't imagine having to decide to sacrifice one child to sustain another. The mother had no choice, but what a heartbreaking situation.

It’s so heartbreaking, but from a scientific standpoint it’s so fascinating to see how fetuses can develop like that
