Hi Paul, I can’t even imagine, on board cancellation of entire cruise. I feel bad for those folks. Any vacation people save up for plan etc. these cruise lines need to be less concerned with popping out mega pay as you go ships. Take care of the ships you have. So not cool.

Good for Venice and great that they banned cruise ships. Cruise over tourism is a real issue and cruise lines don't want to admit it.

People may have heard of the Mechanical Issue on board the Pacific Islands cruise on Brilliance of the Seas that left Sydney March 19th. I was on that cruise... The night before we were due at our first port, the ship had a major failure in the drive system. Royal Caribbean pushed through to the first port arriving hours late due to the reduced speed. The following day it was revealed we were heading back to Sydney. Why am I so mad you may ask....it was a mechanical failure. Royal Caribbean made the decision to go to the first port because they knew they would have to offer a 100% refund if no ports were visited. Instead we were told we would receive a 50% refund.....so they made a financial decision to screw over 2000 plus passengers. I will never use Royal Caribbean again and I would recommend that no one else deal with this scam operation
  • That accent! I’d subscribe if this was a chat about slow drying paint!
