  • This is my Granny’s car from Kansas!!! She is a whopping 4’9 which explains the sunvisor! So many memories in this car! I am also the daughter of Tim’s Auto Sales! We are alive and thriving!!!! I am apart of the daily operations!!! Thank you for a great video!

"not only can you be on the spectrum, but you can be in it too" got me rolling, lmao
  • @RoninBeaver
The hello kitty steering wheel cover just adds a level of sophistication and elegance that is incomprehensible, who would ever let go of such an amazing machine?
  • @Samcrac
Rich with the red hair girl in the passenger seat, JR with the solid camera work, I thought I was watching the new GTA VI trailer
  • @Cloxxki
Get this man an Academy Award for videography!
  • @brandonbell9087
was an honor transporting this for you! great video made me laugh a lot! I didn't even notice the sun visor when i was in it lol.
  • @gorak9000
The funniest part is the sound of the busted axels tinkling on the ground as he's being towed, hiding behind the sun visor. That's like peak Uncle Rich right there!

I’m 3/4 of the way through this and I feel his pain. I hope he gets enough content for the $5k-$6K this adventure is costing. $3K for car, $1K for flight to pick it up, $1K to ship it from the place it breaks down back home, $1K for him to fly back!
  • @drewdane40
You could have taken that to Robot Cantina. He's in Kansas and he could have hooked that thing up with a lawnmower engine or something to get you home. 😂
  • I had an 87 Chevy spectrum. It was a factory turbo 4 cylinder. Apparently it was a pretty rare car. I loved it when I was 17. It was a blast to drive. I drove it until the turbo died. Turbos were expensive in the late 90's so I sold it. Would love to find another one for cheap now.

I'm just glad you finally realized the potential of that sun visor and what it's actually meant for.
  • @CraftComputing
There are no direct flights to Kansas from anywhere. And flights are $1000 from here too.
  • @WatchJRGo
When you come back I'll have a turbine swapped Geo Storm ready for you (chain drive of course) 🚀
  • @chris993361
I had one of these as a hatchback. That little Isuzu motor it came with had no problem revving to over 7000 rpm every day. It was an interesting little car.
  • His whole Tornado skit 😂 every few months having to worry about a tornado destroying everything. BUT hey small price to pay to live next to Hoovie 🤣

9:15 This is why I am subscribed to Rich Builds, the guy has roots he remembers and shares the importance for freedom!

This is pure gold! From the Hello Kitty steering wheel to the lawnmower fuel pressure regulator, you just can't make this stuff up. Rich, you're a madman (in the best way possible) for taking on this challenge, and thanks for taking us along for the wild ride! Also, major props to John Ross for the hand clutch conversion - that's some seriously creative engineering. Although it didn't quite work out, this video is a testament to the spirit of DIY car culture. Looking forward to seeing what kind of crazy car you find next week!

This is the epitome of "just because you can doesn't mean you should". Btw its just an Isuzu Imark.
