I'm telling my children this is Wonder Woman
  • @tbrwn2548
She risked her life to put on a show for the audience. Amazing
  • He threw that queen straight across the stage. I didn't think my wig could have been snatched this many times in one performance.
  • A few things y'all need to know. The wig was pinned on with a slew of bobby pins and wig glue was used as well, so it's not going anywhere. Secondly, no balls were harmed during the performance because they were tucked up in the pelvic area, very well. Third, she hasn't been on drag race because she passed away 10 years ago, so, if she can perform beyond the grave, she deserves to win drag race. No, she did NOT die from being kicked in the face, but with this performance, it would almost seem like she did. And the death drop is an art form that takes a lot of practice so one doesn't hurt themselves while doing it

This is not just the best entance. This is the best performance I've ever seen. I have already watched a hundred times and I never get tired of watching it.

Who’s watching this again after finding out on rpdr this was Tamisha’s daughter?
  • @kevinf7850
Can you imagine her entering the work room like that? The rest of the queens waiting for the last one to come in. Then a ceiling tile shifts and this diva drops in. The rest of the queens would be left bald for the rest of the season.
  • @PeanutsAssorted
I just wanna know how many times she had to rehearse this, because for them to be that perfectly in sync it had to be dozens of times, and how how the hell do you practice dropping from the ceiling into a split? The number is flawless, but just thinking of how hard it would've been to put together makes it even better.

Here after Tamisha educated the children. I can't believe my eyes. This is truly the best performance I have ever seen
  • @abeydube

This is a perfect example of drag at its best. Tandi was and is a legend and like so many before her, laid the foundation for future drag. So many legends have passed on and will never get the recognition they deserve. So much of modern drag comes from the iconic and revolutionary work those long gone and seldom recognized. The true Her-story of Drag is much older and hard earned than can ever be credited. I consider this video and the legends that contributed to its reality, shining gems of Drag when it truly was a subculture. Tandi is showing a shining moment that represents that era. As much as I love modern drag and also Drag Race, it is exactly that: modern. Most performers now have no idea that what they think is ‘new’ or ‘the future’ is actually just repurposed/revamped concepts already in existence. I have yet to see a single thing on Drag Race (RuPaul included) that hasn’t been done before. It is simply popularizing the work of a subculture born of blood, sweat and tears. RuPaul herself is a representation of popularized Drag (and she is aware of that FYI). I wish Drag Race would show more Her-story like was shown in earlier seasons; that the platform was used to also pay tribute to the people who lived (and sometimes died) to get Drag to where it is today. Regardless I’m deeply thankful and have respect for all people who are fiercely themselves despite societal constraints. I’m happy that Drag is seeing acceptance and recognition. I just hope that those who live free remember the people that sacrificed to make that a reality ❤️

Just imagine being the cameraman and how he must have felt while realising what kind of history he managed to catch.
  • @piperkay2080
If you’re not falling into a split from the ceiling, you’re not doing drag
  • Petition to get her an honorary place in the drag race hall of fame?

RIP TANDI IMAN DUPREE.  You will forever be LEGENDARY!  House of Dupree.

We may not be able to crown you, but Tandi Iman Dupree, you're a winner baby. You were gone too soon.
