Alex, I am a Christian. Just wanted to say that I love your videos, and from what I have seen in your videos is a very polite, respectful, extremely intelligent, empathetic man who is genuinely and unashamedly searching for the truth. Thank you for your channel and the challenging arguments that you bring up!!
  • @4:49 as someone who has panic attacks about death and dying because I don’t know what will happen to my consciousness, I literally know for a fact that I would be a happier person if I were to be truly convinced of god’s existence. Yet, I remain unconvinced

Your accounts of desperately searching for god but only being met with radio silence resonates with me so hard as a former devout Christian the only reason i lost my faith was because it meant so much to me i wasn't afraid to engage with other perspectives but found myself more and more without answers. It reached a point i couldn't reconcile my belief with myself and that was a painful thing for me to come to terms with, and i find myself periodically remembering the feelings i got fro faith and i miss it so much it brings me to tears but try as i might, nothing changes, I feel in some senses still perhaps there is a god and it just isn't what we depict or know them as. But i can't subscribe to any of the proposed variations I've been presented.

As a muslim one thing I love about Alex is his demeanor and class act. He does not raise his voice, He does not disrespect the people he debates and his proficiency in verbal communication is truly remarkable and articulate.

I like how polite everyone is, they don't interrupt but are here to listen to a debate and let everyone speak.

I just discovered Alex tonight. Been snooping around his podcast and youtube vids. Very excited to dive into his work.
  • You're searching Alex and I appreciate how profound and thoughtful your discourse is. I like this Muslin saying that goes, "Whoever does a work based on what he knows from his knowledge, God causes him to inherit a knowledge he didn't know he had." I think you can replace the word God with Universe or our material reality that you seem to be profoundly enamored with. Your discourse comes from a place of love and I hope that peace finds you in your days.
  • I’ve been watching your videos for years and I gotta say, you’ve really grown into a fantastic public speaker. Can’t wait to see more of you!
  • @Steventrafford
From watching a young lad doing debunks in his bedroom to Conversations with some of the greatest minds of our time. It’s been a Joy to see your career take off.
  • @rachelb2316
Wow. I commend your transparency, vulnerability, and honestly here. This is not easy to talk about so explicitly.
  • @terrychris466
Bravo, sir. Most arguments supporting the existence of God simply rely on scripture--as if citing a book proves the claim. Your points are succinct, easily understood, and well supported by experience, common sense, history, facts, and compelling, unassailable logic. It's a delight and pleasure to listen to you speak.
  • @MindShift-Brandon
I loved this debate when I first saw it. You have been the number one inspiration in me starting my own channel, and I just wanted to say thank you sincerely for all your work!
  • @wishmakr
That was one of the best deliveries, I have ever heard. I was engaged the whole time. You didn't make anyone feel dumb, you made yourself incredibly likeable(in my opinion) and I will be surprised if you didn't open a few eyes in the process. Excellent speech. I feel like you can definitely call yourself an authority on this subject.
  • Alex you are brilliant, but of course you've heard this before. Love how you speak quickly and follow up your own statements sometimes with bits of clarification. And I like how you speak with speed as to be most economical with time. The suit looks great on you as well.

I am in every way a Non-Resistant Non-believer. I was raised in a religious house and dearly miss the sense of belonging and purpose. I am also fearful of living in an unmoored society that is clearly incapable of regulating itself. I am sad to say I wish it was true, know it was not, and know that we are better off if everybody believed. There have never been any voices in my head or sense of protection in my times of need despite the cries for help.
  • @lauren3596
As a Christian, I love free speech and the respect given to his lecture. It’s very important to listen to opposers and supporters of your beliefs
  • @YahziCoyote
Pretty solid delivery. Well done. By the way the word you were looking for in the beginning was "distribution."
