I'm sorry but immediately when I saw the thumbnail I dashed to the comments to get a solid laugh I knew they would be good.

David bowie got upgraded to higher levels of heaven after such a good deed if he wasn't there already ✍️
  • @LycanLink
Are we done? We're done, right? This was the last Corden clip? We can finally move on to interesting people?
  • @ghost__chips
David Bowie was already the GOAT, now he goes and does this post-death
  • I love how everyone is talking about Bowie and just passing over Corden
  • @jimmygillard
Yeah he definitely "retired" and wasn't let go after that incident.
  • @oskari9432
James Corden crediting the ”people” and missing them while simultaneously advocating for less pay for writers
  • @robbvaules
Too bad Bowie couldn’t motivate Corden to retire earlier.
  • @JoePerry36
Craig Ferguson would of been better. Type in his name in youtube and you can see he is doing podcast interviews again. Get him on. Conan and Ferguson together was awesome back in the day. At least you know you'll be getting genuine guys.

Brave move not disabling this comment section. I understand Conan’s just respectfully chatting with a colleague but this guy is pretty much universally disliked by most fans of late night comedy. He has had a quarter of the career as Conan but the stories of the former being self-aggrandizing, arrogant and overall insufferable to the general public when Conan is the literal opposite makes this episode an unlikely listen.
  • I guess that bit in 'Extras' was really about James Cordon, and not Ricky Gervais. Thanks, David Bowie.
  • Are we sure it wasn't the ratings that inspired him to tuck tail and leave?
