  • Ive learned so much in a short period of time. I wanna thank you for that. I feel completly comfortable using my airbrush within a week of watching through your videos. You are awesome! Now lets hope art channels will get more love in the future again here, since yt dont seem to care about art channels these days anymore with all the views going down on all channels. Greetings from germany!
  • Thank you for your informative airbrushing videos. I have this airbrush (HP-CS). and I can confirm that everything you did here is effective for day to day cleaning and after 2 years of airbrushing mine still performs very well. I thoroughly enjoy my new hobby and continue to learn from seasoned and talented artists like yourself

Very good video. I'm going to start using a brush on my 3d prints. The best thing you can know about a device, besides using it, is cleaning it.
  • @chuckhepler4157
I saw on a painting channel that he recommended warm/hot water to flush the brush. I have a squeeze bottle with the 90 degree bend nozzle so I wrapped it with aluminum covered bubble wrap (got it on a frozen food delivery) and added hot water (think coffee temp). There is no way I can tell you how much difference it makes. It is absolutely night and day. A quick squirt to dilute and dump out leftover paint, one or two squirts of plain hot water and it’s clean. And I mean CLEAN. As in “I took it apart and scrubbed the pieces” clean This is on a Iwata Eclipse and a Creos 771 using relatively thick Createx basic colors and their candy colors

Is there any specific airbrush gun to buy for beginners or can you buy what’s affordable for you?
  • @Gynra
Airbrush Asylum: "So are you unsure about how to clean your airbrush?" Me: Nod, nod, nod.
  • @drewharman1690
Do you not take off your fluid nozzle and soak it? I did and think I messed it up because it wasn’t going back into the threads
  • @rsstnnr76
You have to do this every time you change a color, right?
  • @AndrevwZA
If the needle comes out that dirty when you pull it out, it means the packing seal is not tight enough to wipe it off. I would not recommend putting cleaner down the needle guide. It just ends up in the body seeing that it ends behind the trigger.
  • Thanks for this video, is great content!! Could you please help me understand one thing? I use to use my airbrush maybe omce or twice a week top, I also only use acrylic paints. I am used to deep clean it at the end of every session, but now I wonder if by doing so I am overdoing with cleaning. So my question is: how often should one deep clean an airbrush (i normally use a ultrasonic machine and cleaner). And when doing so, should I have to remove ALL parts? Thanks in advance for your help!!
  • @taina313
Where do we go if we did this and something is still wrong? Where can I take it to get it fixed?
  • Hey. Are you using the Cricut to make stencils? If so, are you going to make a tutorial of that?
  • @StevieDeez
is it OK to use mineral oil to lube the trigger assembly/area?
  • Biggest obstacle to me using my airbrush is the cleaning. I still don’t know how to do it properly. Biggest problem of all is the tip drying and the paint gradually coagulating back from the tip and clogging everything. Anything that helps reduce the stress of cleaning is hugely welcome!
  • @Danman23
What kind of paper do you use to paint on?
  • @thecatguy4301
I would always say I'm not air brushing I'm cleaning my air brush.
