"Is there a bar outside?"classic.huge fan!

Did you ever notice that the trials of the defendants only lasted one day? Now, most trials last weeks. They didn't mess around back then.
-
Some of these other actors stayed working with Webb. A number of them appeared on "Dragnet'' in the '60s.
-
Police work in the good old days. Leg work. Pay phones. Clues interviews some strong arm stuff. Black jacks brass knuckles. Real police work.
-
Originally telecast on September 24, 1953. Adapted from a November 23, 1950 radio episode.
-
Joe sure could dial that phone!!!!
-
Friday….my man was such a workaholic, he’s out there on the case at 12 o’clock New Year’s Day!
-
She was in several things, forget her name. passed away in 1968
-
“I see, will you go on please.”
-
Busted by a rotary phone. Nevermore.
-
$70 then is $875 today! A lot of money at any time!

18:32, Friday & Smith question Fischer.
-
The actor playing Fisher appeared in more than a few episodes of the "Dragnet" of the 1960s.
-
Interesting that throughout the run of the show, Sergeant Friday was never promoted.
-
13:44, Friday & Smith inspect an apartment.
-
I remember this episode. I think all the swindlers should get life no parole.
-
Love the way Friday dials that Old rotary phone.
-
48$ in the 1950's that's about 420$ in today's money.

Wow no one had civil rights back then. No warrant, no Miranda, no lawyer present while questioning 😊
