I always love seeing my sons working together ... Great job 👨‍🌾👨‍🌾
  • What's so critical about this video is that it does not assume any knowledge. This is truly the beginners guide, but not pretentious in the slightest. Thanks so much for this video! So important!

This video needs to be shown in schools. It is so incredibly in depth without being overwhelming. Like, it’s so easily digestible and I think there’s going to be so much takeaway from it for a lot of newer gardeners, as well as seasoned. Ugh! Love it!

This has been one of my favorite videos you’ve done in a while. I would love to have a 3-4 month update where Bryan tells about what has worked and fails/successes as a new gardener.
  • @nnagle9224
I LOVE that you use basic language (without talking down to the viewers) and are including all the steps and budget-friendly tips.

My favorite beginner gardening tip for soil and fertilizers is still N-P-K = Shoots, Roots, and Fruits!
  • @bethb8276
That dog leaping up trying to photo bomb!😂 Cute! Loved the info on the soil, it's been one of those things that has confused me a bit in the past. Thanks❤
  • I really appreciate that you did this video in LONG format and included all the dialogue between you and your brother. It's so helpful to anyone who is starting and brand new to gardening, and also for someone like me who has gardening experience but it's been a few years. I'll be building a raised bed garden soon and this is a great guide to help refresh the knowledge. Good luck in your gardens, everyone!
  • Bry is intently focused. Dude looks like he’s learning so much. Stoked to see your brother jumping on the epic gardening train. Can’t wait for more updates! We love to see it.
  • Can't wait to see this garden fill in! Also, definitely jealous of that massive avocado!
  • @jeffjets00
Hopefully you turn this into a series for this year! I would love to see updates like every other week or even once a month on how his garden is doing. Even issues he is having and how you would fix them. It's always nice to get questions from someone who is new that you don't think of yourself.

I’m going to paid attention because I want to start a garden for my mom’s senior housing. They want to start a garden space
  • @Chet_Thornbushel
You two were surprisingly so professional and serious in this! If this were me and one of my siblings we couldn’t help but to be goofing off the whole time 😂

Good luck to the epic bro!I hope his first year goes great and we can get an update on his progress!
  • Who else was hoping that Kevin’s brother was named Eric? 🤣🤣🤣🤣Nice to finally meet him!
  • @Junzar56
Plant tomatoes in containers along a wall that faces east . It gives the plants morning light and hot afternoon shade.

Most urban areas that have places where soil compost can be purchased bulk and you can generally have it delivered. It's where professional gardeners go to get the soil they use for gardens. And most places have a large variety of different soils for different uses. And it's less expensive than the commercially baged soil at the garden centres. Sometimes a LOT less expensive.

Its nice seeing your brother. He did a really good job. I had a twin brother til we were 46 , his name was Kevin and mine Brian. Only in our case I was older.
  • @Chocamatoes
I would have never thought that the height of the bed could change the light conditions. I always learn something new. ❤
