Watching prison documentaries makes me value my freedom even more. The thought of going to prison is too awful to contemplate. Here are four words to live by; don't break the law. Whatever you do, just don't break the law: ever.

Finally a documentary I haven't seen

This documentary is interesting, the content is amazing but the editing not so much and the story line was all over the place and lacked context at times where narration or descriptive subtitles would have been helpful/informative. All said it's a very good doc. Thanks.

I saw Maryland and immediately clicked cuz I'm from DC. I saw the dude on here and kept saying that his face looked familiar, and I thought about this program I use to attend, and sure thing I see Ms. Kemp, the lady that the dude hugged at 40:34. That woman saved my life, I call her my second mom. Crazy how life works.

Maryland is one of the most diverse states in the entire country. One county is very liberal the next county over is very conservative. Iâve lived here my entire life and is so crazy just how much the environment and people change from one county to the next. Then you go into Baltimore which suddenly turns into Somalia.

I was locked down without music and finally when I did get to lower custody I got a radio head phone for 50$ I cried listening to music it had been so long since I had that luxury it took my heart strings

Why does someone need to be in jail for 20 years for a fight?

I can tell that head sheriff is prejudiced as he can be. As soon as he mentioned the Gladitor and his reason of liking it and comparing it to the prison thatâs all I had to hear. Iâll never go to prison.

When a guard is too damn lazy to pick up disposable gloves off the ground with a trash can next to her, you know the inmates running the f out that place.

I really donât like this sheriff. He seems a bit arrogant and that vehicle, just driving around town, is for HIS egoâŠ.not to let people know theyâre âsafeâ. Then the Gladitator photo, his explanationâŠcringe.đŹđŹ
Itâs amusing that the inmate claims they are in control. Yet, they are told when to get up, when to eat, when they shower and get rec time. Iâve been in jail and even with corruption, THEY are in control. -
lolâŠI see Iâm not the only one who feels this sheriff thinks he is all that and a bag of chipsâŠwhat an arrogant individual he is. He definitely thinks heâs a Polo man, but really heâs more on the side of Old Spice! lol

The chubby sheriff thinking he's a gladiator is pretty cute.

The draconian sheriff was indicted on conspiracy charges for falsifying documents on sheriff letterhead to illegally acquire machine guns to rent out at a gun range he co-owns. He took leave back in April of 23 but has since re-instated himself to full duties. I assume the case is still pending and am hoping he gets justice either way with no prejudice just because of his office.

I love and grew up in Maryland unfortunately Iâve see a lot of the insides of these Kaiâs but managed to get my life together and been working and taking care of my kids change is possible people you have to really want it thođđŸ

I find the sherrif arrogant.He says he's like a gladiator.But a gladiator doesn't fight against opponents who are locked up
